I don't know where I heard that joke but it seemed fitting for a vanity page, which is what this is.
And not being very vain I decided to ommit pictures and design only in black & white.

Despite the poor choice of a title for this book it was actually a much read then the cheap advertising belied. Steiner not only give a clear and concise overview of the many ways algorithms affect us everyday, he does so in a neutral manner and where not he almost celebrates them. * if you are like me you will probably read the last chapter and surmise that the editor did the same and pushed for the "doomsday" angle that adorns the cover (if not in fact dictated the last chapter)12-2014 Back to list
